Meet Our Trainer - CJ
CJ is the heart of Victory Training Center and a highly respected professional in the equestrian world. With more than 30 years of experience, she has dedicated her life to training and developing top-performing horses across multiple disciplines, including Saddle Seat, Hunt Seat, Western, and Driving.
Her expertise centers on Friesians, Arabians, Saddlebreds, and Morgans, with a proven record of developing these breeds at the highest levels. This depth of experience allows her to bring out each horse’s full potential while maintaining soundness and confidence. Having trained, shown, and won at both national and world championship levels, CJ brings exceptional knowledge, perspective, and a deep respect for the horses she works with.
In an industry increasingly driven by speed, economics, and short-term results, CJ remains committed to the tradition of true horsemanship. Her program rejects an assembly-line approach in favor of thoughtful, individualized development. Each horse’s physical and mental capabilities are recognized and cultivated without sacrificing soundness, confidence, or longevity. Success, in her philosophy, is not rushed. It is built step by step with intention, patience, and care.
CJ believes great horses are created through trust, consistency, and a strong teaching relationship. Her training prioritizes mental balance and physical durability, producing confident horses with solid foundations. These are horses that last season after season and support riders at every stage, from green riders to experienced amateurs and non-pros. Results in the show ring matter, but never at the expense of the horse.
